Report Writer Utility.
The WSIB System Navigator has a very powerful Report Writer. The system has the capability to produce over 48,000 different reports and graphs, based on data that is selected and the style of format that is used. This utility allows the user to print out a hard copy of any of the information that is stored in the system. The user delineates what information is collected for the report and the format of the report. The system guides the user through a step by step process to develop these reports. In addition to printing out the raw data that is in the system, the Report Writer allows the user to build and display Totals, Sub Totals and Percentages. The user can also designate a layered breakdown of the data up to six levels.

The Reports are broken down into seven main areas: 

• Employee Data
• Incident, Injury Types
• Recurrence/Continuity
• Costs, Costs by Injury Types
• History
• ToDo Action Item.

This shows that based on this report of Incidents with the following qualifications:

Incident Type equals NON-WSIB

Branch equals BRANCH ONE

Branch equals BRANCH TWO

Two records were found.

Of these records, the number of NON-WSIB Incidents were 2, and this was 100% of the selected records.

Of these records, the number where the worker worked in NEW BRANCH was 2, and this was 100% of the selected records.

Of these records, only one had a CU Code of 0000-000, and this was 50% of the selected records.

Of these records, only one had a CU Code of 0199-000, and this was 50% of the selected records.

Of these records, only one had a Last Name of Magguilli, and this was 50% of the selected records.

Of these records, only one had a Last Name of Dover, and this was 50% of the selected records.

The user can experiment with this screen and mix and match the combinations to suit the particular style of report that is required.

Intuitive Ease of Use
Reports can be saved and re-used either as templates for future Reports or as Updatable Reports based on different blocks of dates.
