NEER...

NEER Section interface.
The WSIB System Navigator has the capability to accept information relating to the NEER component of Claims Management.

The NEER Statements are grouped together based on the Past Awards To Date. The statements consist of both the NEER Claim Cost Statement and the NEER Firm Summary Statement. These two statements are combined into one screen in order to share common data.

The NEER Claim Cost Statement and the NEER Firm Summary Statement are both computed by the system. These statements are included in the system so the user can track this information from within the system and reduce the necessity for a separate paper file for the Claims Management process. The computer program enters this information directly from the information that the user has inserted in the Cost Statements.

The accumulated cost information creates an individual NEER Report for every claim in the system.

These individual listings are added together to make the NEER Claim Cost Statement and the Firm Summary Report.

The Firm's Refund/Surcharge is automatically calculated from the WSIB NEER Tables that updated by Working Bytes Inc. as they become available from the Board.

There is a 'What If' component to the NEER section.  The user can adjust the values in the Individual NEER Listing to show what the results would be.

The user can change the claim type or the Pension and Non-Pension Costs associated with the claim and the system will automatically compute the NEER costs associated with the claim based on these 'what if' values.

NEER Output
As with all forms included in the WSIB System Navigator, the NEER Claim Cost Statement Output looks identical to the statement that the user receives from the Board.

NEER Tables
The user receives the updated NEER tables as they become available to Working Bytes Inc. from the Board.
This service is included in the Support of this version.

Intuitive Ease of Use
All the NEER Costs are automatically computed for the user based on the individual Cost Items entered into the system.
